Delete your account

Takes under a minute · No emails required (unless you want them)

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open Elimika and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm twice when asked. Your account is removed immediately.

Option 2 — By email request

1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
2. Use the subject “Delete my Elimika account” and include your username.
3. We verify ownership and delete within 7 days, then confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

• Profile: username, email, bio, avatar.
• Everything you posted: videos, text posts, comments, quizzes, collections.
• Everything you did: likes, bookmarks, follows, watch history, quiz attempts.

Deletion is immediate in production systems and permanent — it cannot be undone. Encrypted backups may retain copies for up to 30 days before ageing out; backups are never restored into production.

What is NOT deleted

• Content other users copied outside Elimika (screenshots, downloads) — we cannot reach those.
• Anonymised, aggregated statistics that no longer identify you.
• Records we must keep by law (e.g. abuse-prevention logs), kept the minimum time required.
